The City
Gallatin, Tennessee is nestled in the heart of beautiful Sumner County. As the county seat, Gallatin has much to offer. A historic downtown square marked by local businesses and restaurants gives Gallatin a real local flavor. Historical landmarks and guided tours, along with the State’s oldest indoor Theatre, make Gallatin a real treasure for all of the region. The city has a remarkable knack for drawing big business chains, as well. Gallatin has something for all walks of life.
Gallatin is a town of great historic importance to the State of Tennessee, and thus, the United States. Involved, unwittingly, in the Civil War. Our city became a major player in the War’s outcome. Sumner County is well known for it’s part in the Great Revival of 1800, spanning from Goodlettsville, through Hendersonville, and on into Gallatin. Our State’s spiritual mores’ are due in large part to this historic time.

Today, Gallatin, Tennessee is known for its strong spiritual diversity, ranging from historical traditional to contemporary modern styles of worship. A unified vision of city leaders, business owners, and pastors makes Gallatin a special place to live.
